ABOUT ME
Welcome to my Online Portfolio! I am currently a senior at Radford University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. My interest and passion for Public Relations has been gained through my college coursework and the opportunities I've been given to establish myself, both personally and professionally. I am eager to showcase my professional work in hopes to obtain a future career in the Public Relations field.

INTERN EXPERIENCE
Digital Media Intern for Pine Ridge Landscaping: Assisted with the digital management, content creation, and social media use for the company's media platforms. I contributed my knowledge of web production, written communication, branding and online media skills to every assignment.
LEADERSHIP
Member of the Delta Zeta Sorority since the Fall of 2017: held positions such as the Standards Chairperson, Recruitment & Invite Committee, and Judicial Board Chairperson where I exhibited independent judgement, reliability, and confidence.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Eager and driven professional with communication, public relations, and customer service experience gained from positions such as: Hostess and Waitress, Sales and Customer Service Associate, and Service Driver. I established and displayed a goal-oriented, confident mindset that resulted in high quality services to coworkers and clients.

Press Release
Using Microsoft Word, I created a press release for the BAE Systems Chairman's Awards in a Writing for Public Relations class to showcase my written communication skills and knowledge of a basic press release structure.
News Article
In a Writing for Public Relations class, I created a news article to detail the philanthropic events of the Delta Zeta Sorority. This piece of work taught me how to format news letters and provide visual content to go along with the written text.
Fact Sheet
I created a mock fact sheet for the Radford University School of Communication in a Writing for Public Relations class using Microsoft Word. I had used strong research and written communication skills to accurately display the facts.
Social Media Post
Over the course of my digital media internship, I created various social media posts for the company to use on their media platforms. Using Canva, I created a social media post to advertise the lawn and landscape services offered, including photo content and contact information.
Professional Cover Letters
For a Business & Professional Communication class I created a cover letter for a Event Planning and Marketing Intern position. I also created a cover letter for a potential Marketing Coordinator position at the company Carahsoft. These displayed my professional communication writing skills.
Dean's List
During my time at Radford University, I have dedicated an ample amount of time and effort into my academic career. My hard work was rewarded with being named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2017 & 2018 Semesters and the Fall 2018 & 2019 Semesters.
PR Campaign Project
This final project was created for a Public Relations Media and Campaigns class to showcase the skills of a PR professional I possessed. Using Microsoft Word, I created a semester-long campaign for a local restaurant that provided extensive research, re-branding strategies, advertisements, and more.
Social Media Infographic
I created a infographic for my internship that outlined a company update for the COVID-19 pandemic to be shared on their social media platforms. In order to create proper, accurate content I conducted research and demonstrated my knowledge of social media skills.
Public Service Announcements
I created two public service announcements for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevent and The Human Society of the United States as sample writing pieces for my Writing for Public Relations class. Using Microsoft Word, I strengthened my computer software and writing skills.
